season 1 dragged. a lot. but I respect som of the creative solutions like getting the whole town of Salvation storyline out of the way there instead of later.

the season 2 premiere was more or less exactly what I hoped for though: road tripping, hosing gas through intestines, cat eating and ultra violence.

I wasn't much of a fan of the comic and the first season was a bit flat at times but the second season seems to be punchier. Also, I've been sort of watching it because of the rather shallow reason that I find Ruth Negga almost too damned adorably attractive for this world. I try not to follow a TV series because a lead actress or two or more appeal to my sense of aesthetics but I do slip every now and then.

I wish comic book artists would stop trying to create art. Unless your name is Neil Gaiman, you're not creating art.

Boy, am I glad I decided to not give this show a chance.

I'd hate this show if it was more like the comic. luckily it's far enough removed from the source material im OK with them fucking shit up. My point is, Comic Book Jesse would beat the shit out of TV show Jesse for that shit he tried to pull with the loudspeaker at the end of season 1.
