Aw thanks. He was actually my girlfriend's cat; I'm relatively new to the picture with a little under two years but he seemed to adopt me ok. :)

Sorry for your loss. The idea of pets getting to play & snuggle with their owners forever in Heaven is one of the few reasons I hope I'm wrong about there not being an afterlife.

I'm sorry, zest. I had to put to sleep a cat about that old some years back. Wasn't pretty, but he was definitely at the end of his life.

We had a cat last to 21. In some ways, hurt more to lose her than my dad. I could say goodbye to him, and know he understood it.
