There's a lot of neat details here non-Masons might miss:
- The illuminated Starry Heavens. The Starry Heavens as a literal artifact is rare in American lodges. Usually it's just referred to and taken metaphorically, even though in European lodges they're there. The illumination effect is cool.
- The canopied officer's chairs. Thrones are very common in American lodges but not to this size or permanence.
- Actual candles are very uncommon in the States, replaced by specially made square and compass light bulbs that are about a hundred bucks a pop, produced by the Macoy company, who has a monopoly.
- The chessboard floor is becoming rare. The tessellated border is almost extinct.
