Back in the day I had to take a basic requirement speech class, and day one the professor strolls in late wearing a ballcap, jeans, and a sports coat. He awkwardly sits down on his desk and stuttered out a rambling, confused rant about the importance of confidence in public speech.

I kept waiting for him to break out of character with a "..AND THAT'S HOW YOU LOSE AN AUDIENCE!" He never did.

He also once scheduled a meeting with me, and I walked all the way across campus for him to ask me if I was a nihilist.

Needless to say, I transferred to another university.
