My neighbor took this video in my backyard. Thought it was worth sharing.

Would you or have you swam across when the current is like that?

Enjoy - 2017-10-20

No. It's freezing cold this time of year, moving fast, and 10-12 feet deep in the center. During late July and August I'll swim in it but it's otherwise not an option.

Great video. One of the best in recent weeks on poetv. Five Stars.

Deer Enjoy,

But like, if you had to eat the deer to survive, would you cross it then? Would you survive? Or just get washed away?

Yours, Anxious in Adelaide.

I didn't know deer could swim until a few years back. I've even received calls on the radio where people were reporting deer in the water. Look dude, the deer are fine, and the Coast Guard isn't going out to save them.

Snoqualmie Washington was where we'd usually have family trips when I was a kid. Damn fine oatmeal from there too! I haven't been up there for at least 20 years but it looks about the same as when we left it :)

Go there for the elk, stay for the oatmeal.

When they develop cooler tube technology, the elk will be unstoppable.
