I'm glad it made it through the hopper. This is one of those movies I'm strangely obsessed with and also a film which I will randomly quote with full knowledge that nobody will ever know what exactly I'm quoting. The production of the movie and the plot itself is extremely creative even if it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Considerable amount of effort was spent on this thing even if it was in rather strange places.

I also vaguely remember this thing coming out when I was a child and I thought I had imagined it all when I decided to do some IMDB searching on Aykroyd and found that this movie actually did exist.

They must have rubber stamped this thing "quicker than sump grease through a ten year old goose -whistles-", and strangely enough, I'm glad they did.

I haven't seen this since 9th or 9th grade but I remember it being pretty special, in some sense of the word.

"Nothing but Trouble" was nothing but a cinematic masterpiece.

I never thought this movie was nearly as bad as its exaggerated press, but it's still pretty bad.

Groan.

Do you mind just fucking off? What sort of things do you like so I can arbitrarily 1 star them? What a fucking child.

I’ve seen it exactly once, and certain unsettling images are still burnt into my memory like a blaze of horror. Mr. Bonestripper TERRIFIED me as a concept. The fact they couldn’t escape from the Valkenhausers at the end was one of the first time I realized movies could frighten me on an instinctual level. I bought a DVD of it, and have never unwrapped it from the plastic.

They're right about Chevy Chase being the millstone around Dan Ackroyd's neck in this movie. I kind of suspect that John Candy's characters would've actually been better served with Dom DeLuise, who could play a drag character in a broader way, while Candy is playing his very restrained, which is NOT what this movie needed.

I think "Nothing But Trouble" is one of those movies that would've been improved with a smaller budget. That said, the set design on this movie is TOP NOTCH. I love it with no reservations.

I remember watching it with my older sister when I was in 5th grade. We hated it, but we couldn't stop watching it. And we watched it more than once.

I vividly remember feeling nauseous during that floppy hotdog scene.

I always thought the dicknose thing would pretty much cement its place in film history

This movie wasn't intended to make the audience feel good or comfortable.

I'm giving it 3 stars because "Nothing but Trouble" is too good a movie to miss. I'm deducting stars for these insufferable assholes picking it apart.

Sometimes a movie just works despite itself. This is one of those movies. Analyzing the flaws is like trying to critique an orgasm.

Gmork - 2017-11-27

You compared this awful piece of shit to an orgasm?

oh binro

Fun video. Have memories of watching this as a kid who loved Dan Aykroyd and John Candy and just being repulsed. I sort of think Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 does a similar thing to this movie but is actually fun and watchable.
