Are the hats mind-control helmets?

Dear Sir or Madam:

I must protest the invocation of the term "pavlovian" to describe the behavior in this video.

Pavlov studied classical conditioning, or the act of causing an involuntary response to an unrelated stimulus by pairing it with a more relevant stimulus; i.e., by ringing a bell when he served his dogs food, he got his dogs to salivate by simply ringing the bell.

What we are seeing here is actually operant conditioning, where food is rewarded for voluntary behavior. A better name to invoke here would be Skinner or perhaps Thorndike.

I patiently await a T-shirt for pointing out this error. 3XL, please.
