When I was going through some tough times, I discovered a bunch of recordings of William S. Burroughs on the Internet Archive and listened to them while working my warehouse job. Something about his voice's steady grind and its rising and ebbing energy puts me very at ease, and I'm someone who has difficulty finding voices I can listen to for a long time.
