People who support strategically voting for the lesser of two evils?

I have a theory; if we keep voting of the lesser evil, we may eventually get to a point where we cross the boundery between good and evil and one day vote for very slightly good vs very slightly evil. followed by voting for the greater of two goods.

The way I kind of see it is the Republicans are a bunch of rich douche bags that want to hoard all the money to run up the score and "win". They are mean-spirited pricks.

The Democrats are a bunch of rich douche bags that make themselves feel like they're good people by sharing some of their wealth. They mean well but can be kind of patronising and don't really understand what life is like for the proles they want to guide.

Yeah, they are all oligarchs but you'd rather have oligarchs that are mildly misguided but mean well than oligarchs that are just fucking asshole shitheads that would screw over their best friend if it meant they had an extra 5 points when they die.

And really we all end up in the same damn place. Putin can consolidate all the power and money he wants -- but he's going to end up just as dead as I will. And most likely sooner.

Honestly, is there any place left? The Nordic countries are pretty fucking xenophobic. Japan expects you to work unpaid overtime until you die at your desk. Germany was looking pretty nice but they let some immigrants in and now pseudo-Nazis are getting popular.

Canada is pretty good if you can get in. The only downside is proximity to the US.

We pretty much only let in refugees, educated professionals, or the ultra-rich. This means that aside from the refugees, we're letting in the ones mostly likely to make our society worse. =\

10 years ago I came here to a mainly talk politics. I was doing politics all the damn time. If you don't like politics then don't watch the political videos.

I feel like 90% of the world has become a political jerkfest. I can hardly have a conversation any more that doesn't come back to politics. It's in everyone's minds all the time because it's a massive problem in everyone's lives. And it's just getting worse.

Nobody talks politics when politics aren't destroying us. By then it's too late.
