It was weird how nonchalant the victim was about the guns, and how his wife seems genuinely horrified that he got shot. Mattress in your garbage not worth killing a guy over. A sad mess all around.
Nonchalant is the wrong word. He was more upset about having guns pulled on him in front of his family than he was afraid of getting shot.

As a gun owner these fucks need to be removed from the planet. Your job as a someone who carries a gun for defense is to deescalate the situation, not draw your gun at the first sign of someone doing something you don't like.
These Jerry Springer episodes are getting out of hand with the realism.
