...Uh, they did. It was terrible. It was too early for Youtube so it didn't succeed, and they tried to do a weird subscription aspect. It turned out to be just Jon Lovitz and Maurice LeMarche doing Pikachu jokes. I'm not making this up.
Oh yeah, that was so depressing. It was a bunch of five minute shorts where Jay "reviewed" then-current movies. What followed were a bunch of Family Guy-tier film parodies, plus a recurring gag where children mistook Jay for Shrek.
There used to be a time when that was a good thing. That good thing ended the day Teen Angel premiered. The Atom Films Critic just consolidated the decline.
