Typical. Christian drummer hittin Paistes. Dunno why I have that prejudice but it's correct, apparently.

blue vein steel - 2019-01-11

Sorry, but Satan Bite the Dust! (also by Carmen) already has that title.

Marlon Brawndo - 2019-01-11

I had to look him up. I think it's the same guy!

Cena_mark - 2019-01-11

All socials ills in our country were the result of taking prayer out of school.

Marlon Brawndo - 2019-01-11

Especially gay rights. The gays and their VDs. Who do they think they are.

blue vein steel - 2019-01-12

same guy. Carmen was made for POE

Zoot42 - 2019-01-11

One of the few videos that I couldn't make through, and its just some dumb Christian rock instead of genocide or gross fetish shit. A testament to how bad this band is.

Marlon Brawndo - 2019-01-11

Well maybe one day there will be a genocide brought about by Christian rock and gross fetish shit. I think that was in Revelations but don't quote me on it.

Old_Zircon - 2019-01-11

Miscegenation at 1:15.

That guy - 2019-01-12

You guys are kinda pussies for downvoting Marlon's Joe Rogan clip in the hopper.

That guy - 2019-01-12

seven pussies

Marlon Brawndo - 2019-01-12

I didn't submit that one. But I did vote for it.

However, I'm mystified by the people that downvoted the vape store employee having a total meltdown in public because some dude wore a Trump T shirt. Whoever downvoted that has no fucking sense of humor at all because that is comedy fucking gold right there. What, were you afraid anti-Trump people would look bad because of one lunatic? Are you really that much of a pussy?

That guy - 2019-01-12

Yeah, Murphy's Law of the Hopper dictates that if I'm sure you submitted it because you were the first voter, then you certainly didn't submit it.

Anyway, the professor in that Joe Rogan video is a smart person with ideas, whether you agree or disagree. He's not even a Jordan Peterson type. The site going REEEEEEE and downvoting that vid is just fucking bullshit.

Marlon Brawndo - 2019-01-12

I think that opening up dialogue is the best possible thing to counter the divide in our country. Joe Rogan exemplifies this. I know he gets hated on here but I fucking love him. I think he is a genuinely good intentioned, moral guy who tries to be an example to others and I admire that deeply. He admits his faults and tries to move forward all the time having learned from his mistakes. There is a wisdom and humility there I think everyone should learn from. He isn't afraid to admit if he thinks someone has persuaded him to switch sides in an argument. It's rare.

The thing that I have noticed about this site is no one seems to want to even submit or comment on any videos about the social justice movement and I think that's also a huge mistake. There are pros and cons to that whole movement and it's not as overly simple as "LOL SJWS DESTROYED" titles you see on Youtube and it isn't a revolution dedicated solely to the altruistic but there are things about it that I understand on both sides. On one you don't want to join a movement and stop thinking critically, which too many people do. People are very malleable usually once they DECIDE on a side. Adopting an ideology as dogma is dangerous on either side of the aisle politically. There is no perfection and I know people that think that by joining this movement it somehow makes them immune to any criticism whatsoever. That's part of the appeal and that frightens me. On the other hand I know quite a few people who have fought for rights and justice because there is corruption and nepotism out there. The real dangers of our country are in the poor of all sides getting screwed over and screwed out of the ability to just work a job and get by and getting screwed over because the poor don't have good legal defense and we've become a divided society where the rich can afford lawyers that actually know what the hell what they are doing or care. There are abuses happening but the conclusions that the movement makes almost never point to either real life solutions nor do they seem to concentrate on important matters in the minor complaints about "triggers", "microaggressions" and "safe spaces" which don't pay the fucking bills.

I really liked the Occupy Wall Street movement because it was concerned with economic security and I don't see that being remembered at all in the social justice movement. At least not with any attachment to realistic goals.

Naw, he’s a has-been D-lister who switched to selling literal snake oil when his looks started to fade. As with all radio tough guys, he defaults to conservatism when the chips are down, and his flavor was to tack on New Thought/Norman Vincent Peale horseshit to cover for his general lack of intellectual depth and appallingly low cultural literacy. Sorry you got Dittoheaded, the trick to radio is that your brain thinks the demagogue to you, personally. Brains are dumb.

That guy - 2019-01-13

IDK much about Rogan. The conversation in the video is non-dumb, regardless of whatever other factors....

Marlon Brawndo - 2019-01-13

I listen to him pretty regularly and he has never embodied any kind of hardline conservative philosophy. Maybe you're just seeing what you want to see out of paranoia? Some people are centrists or moderates. I think he looks at all viewpoints and thinks that both sides have their fair share of bullshit and he's really good at calling people out on that bullshit.

Honestly, I like Joe Rogan because he doesn't devalue anyone. He's had crazy people come on his show but he just talks to them calmly. It irritates me he gets labeled as a kook because of this. He fundamentally believes in trying to understand things from other people's point of view. He believes in inspiring people and encouraging young men towards a life of fitness and good nutrition.

I think dismissing him as batshit crazy or some kind of conservative pundit is a huge mistake when he has rallied to completely reorganize humanity into a higher functioning species and he has consistently criticized the corporate influence over our politics for the entire time he's been on the air.

cognitivedissonance - 2019-01-14

When he's willing to subject all his bonkers theories about nutrition to peer review, I'll remove the fatwa.

Jimmy Labatt - 2019-01-12

That is indeed the holiest of keytars.
