Not sure if it's the same in Mexico, but I grew up near a large Puerto Rican neighborhood, and for them "toma" is one of the staple innuendos. Literally it means "drink" or "take", but it's commonly used to refer to "drinking" or "taking" a giant, sloppy cock. For example, if you're walking down the street and a gentleman says to you "Yo, mira cabron! TOMA!" means the fellow is trying to get your attention and is offering his man-sausage to you.

And to think I didn't find the voices similar at all!

Latin America has many very talented voice actors and actresses, as is proven by how awesome anime is in Spanish.

Spanish voice actors are often completely amazing. It's a shame how little they're paid. The Spanish voice of Homer Simpson has been with the show from the very beginning and still makes only an episode.
