No, didn't help to crowdfund it, I didn't know about this particular one. There are Furries who are working with animatronic tails, and have been for a while, Wolftail was one of the early ones, years ago. You see them at conventions sometimes, just to wag when activated.

I like that they're working on it, and of course to make it more self contained and smaller would be a goal. Even a small tail could help with balance. It needs some kind of mass, but not too heavy to wear. Those guys have thought about it more than I have.

I'd like to see other animals augmented, like a Dog given opposable thumbs that they could learn to control, and find out what would happen, that would be a good study.
