So this is a nice idea n all, but it gives me nerd rage..

The fact that they use the Hu so that it looks like an element on the periodic table.

There is no new element in those ingots.

So going with the element thing was just dumb, but also it was a missed opportunity, they could have suggested humanium as a 'named alloy', the actual mixture of metals would be different in each ingot, but the idea would be humanium = alloy composed of the various metals from former guns. It would be a cute idea and not *gratingly* ignorant seeming.

Wonder if it's actually safe, ie, heavy metal presence.

Someone's trying to kickstart a run of wristwatches made with this...which, given how popular wristwatches are these days, seems like a great way to fail at applying this idea.

Eh, lots of alloys have heavy metal presence. All that stainless in your silverware drawer, for instance, is full of chromium. That shouldn't be a problem for the customer, just the people working the material. And if you're metalworking, hopefully your being careful. I mean, I'm not, but hopefully everyone else is.

Awesome, a depleted uranium wristwatch giving my blood cancer as it flows through me(scientifically inaccurate)
