Most of the actually rich people I've known (probably not a representative sample) are more privileged, but a lot more subtle and calm about it. Both because money insulates them from being inconvenienced most of the time, and there's something about being middle class where you viscerally know you're not far from the bottom of the hierarchy and you need to defend your status.
