I recently dug up an old Electronics Boutique holiday catalog from 1994. 3 entire pages of screensaver programs for $20-$35 each. Simpsons, The Far Side, Bloom County, and of course the flying toasters.

For some reason I have a memory of one of these types of show (might have been this one) that had a segment that was like a "Grinds my Gears" (sorry for the Family Guy reference, it's the best I've got) bit where a balding man with a mustache complained about the Print Screen and Pause keys and wanted them replaced with stupid windows-specific function keys.

This was before the Windows key or any of the other bullshit keys you don't use on modern keyboards.
