We see you and we know what you did.

Where's a pallet of bricks when you need one?

Old_Zircon - 2020-06-05

Maybe they hadn't unloaded it from the brick truck yet.

Cops initially saw cameras as an ally, now they're their greatest enemy.

I suppose, charitably, you could argue that they broke the windows to see whether there was anything of danger to them in the car; I'm reluctant to think that's actually what was going on here, but, you know, I'm trying not to confirmation bias myself into a tizzy.

Old_Zircon - 2020-06-05

I mean, is it really confirmation bias when police have been caught red-handed doing stuff like (and much more sneaky) this over and over all over Europe and North America for like 150 years? Seems more like Occam's razor to me.

Old_Zircon - 2020-06-05

Sorry for the typo, that shouldn't have said 150. Wouldn't want to misrepresent the situation.

Should have been 250.

Well, yes, I think it still would be confirmation bias, technically speaking. Just a really credible bias. Especially since another way of finding out whether anything dangerous is inside the car is looking through the windows. So you're both right; orange slices all around.
