A friend of mine told he he once argued abortion and contraception with a supposed libertarian. Apparently they eventually got to the conclusion that abortion should be illegal, but that if the pregnancy was caused by a badly-manufactured condom then the condom company should have custody of the child.

betabox - 2020-07-04 Wait, I thought that in the minds of libertarians bad products can't exist in the holy Free Market, because consumers would act as their own watchdogs and corporations would tremble in fear contemplating the wrath of their customers. If a bad product does exist, it's the consumer's fault for purchasing it without doing due diligence.
But then, I'd be interested in how a libertarian can defend making abortion (or anything) illegal.
It's almost like they're mentally 12 years old, and think it's unfair that they have to follow dumb old rules (but everybody else should).
