clearly the best choice of action is to let republicans do whatever they want until the skies part and a candidate without flaw or error descends from heaven

instead, let's elect somebody with essentially the same politics so we can pretend that it is better

they're only "the same" if you're a rich dipshit insulated by enough money to not have to deal with the brunt of their policies. they are different, no matter how desperately you need them to be the same

it's the people on the bottom of the socioeconomic ladder that see the least difference between the candidates and are disengaged from this election, it's the financially stable/wealthy people that are extremely concerned with respectability politics and therefore are the most offended by Trump.
