A bit of background here: this was originally part of a series of white label edits of classic tracks put out by France's D-I-R-T-Y Soundsystem collective (http://www.d-i-r-t-y.com/ , though their site is in a state of disrepair at the moment), also responsible for the very nifty "Dirty Diamonds" compilations (nothing to do with Alice Cooper). Search out the edits on p2p, they're well worth it, especially and Q Lazzarus's "Goodbye Horses" and Cat Stevens' "Was Dog a Doughnut?". Some dude at Virgin/679 apparently heard the Four Seasons edit, thought he could make it HUEG, and threw around whatever massive chunk of money it took to license the original song and make it legal, and, well, here we are now. Apparently poised to become something of a hit, in the UK anyway. THANKS FOR RUINING MY INDIE CRED, JERKFACE.
