Always fascinated how cartoons from the 80s up to the mid 90s, not matter how shitty, all had theme songs that stuck with you forever. I think I saw the intro to this maybe two times back in the day, never sat through more than a minute of an actual episode, and had completely forgotten about it ever since. Yet the whole song instantly came back to me as soon as I hit play.
By contrast, I watched the entire Avatar series on Netflix, loved it, and can't even begin to remember the theme song.

Rick Moranis was just in the news for being beaten up by a guy not far from the building where his Ghostbusters character lived.

Aernaroth2 - 2020-10-08 That was my original inspiration for submitting it, I hope he's doing ok!

I'm beginning to think Rick moranis quit acting not just for his family but because he was chronically typecast as a push over bitch and he was sick of it
|
snothouse - 2020-10-08 I think this cartoon made him quit, when he saw they made him look like a talking penis.

Did every SCTV player get their own cartoon show?

“Hey didja hear the one about the priest, the rabbi, and the monster?”
I can we why “Scooby Doo and the Ghoul School” and “Monster High” are better takes on this concept.
Also a female character being called a “bimbo”
|
Marlon Brawndo - 2020-10-09 Yeah, calling a character a bimbo is not something you would see in a children's cartoon today.
We should make a drinking game out of this concept.
