Man, Dino was such a porker

OxygenThief - 2007-06-16

What do you mean was? Have you seen recent pictures of him with Divine Heresy? He's positively planetoid.

Jimmy Labatt - 2007-06-16

Holy shit just did a Google image search. Man, you ain't kidding

ABoyNamedCheese - 2007-06-16

Least-heavy song on the album. Zero-Signal? Pisschrist? Now THOSE were 5-star slabs of the good stuff.

Why was this the big single even among metal fans?

Jimmy Labatt - 2007-06-16

Psssst!

Hey Cheese: I would've included Hunter/Killer, but they never made a video out of that

Jimmy Labatt - 2007-06-16

Beyond that though, I think Replica was an awesome song

Stopheles - 2007-06-16

It was the big single off the album BECAUSE it was the least heavy song. Much as I'da liked to see "Body Hammer" or "New Breed" get mainstream radio play, it was nice to see ANY of their stuff getting airplay on commercial radio (I saw them a bunch in the mid-90s in smallish bar shows, and they were really great guys to me and my twelve-year-old brother).

Also, wasn't there a bunch of ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY-level press about the subject matter of this song ("I found out that I was conceived in a rape, that makes me feel really goddamned awful about everything")?

baleen - 2007-06-16

Is this what you kids are listening to these days.

Testicles of Doom - 2007-06-16

No, this is what we were listening to in 1995.

It's an ok song, but I postitively hate the part in the video where the camera pulls back and the group looks like their posing for a photo (@ :58).

+1 for the Blade Runner eye thing.

onemorepanic - 2007-06-16

I used to hate this so much.

Jimmy Labatt - 2007-06-16

Hi onemorepanic. It looks like you still do. Thanks for voting!

don't know much about metal, but when I was in college someone gave my friend and I free Slayer tickets. There were all these little kids there with their moms to see Fear Factory open. Those little kids grew up to post this video to POETV.

Jimmy Labatt - 2007-06-16

I don't know much about you, Boba (StarWars 4LIFE!!!1), but when I was in college, someone gave my friend and I free tickets to the math club frosh party. There were all these pasty faced beardos sitting around in a circle, talking about Stephen Hawking and AD&D, listening to the Pet Shop Boys and drinking Jolt cola. Those beardos never grew up and now lurk in the e-shadows, chomping at the bit while awaiting their chance to post assinine comments on POETV instead of actually contributing to the site.

ABoyNamedCheese - 2007-06-16

You know nothing of metal, got free tickets, saw kids who knew more about metal than you who were there to see a newer band, blithered your quasi-relevant metal experience at said bands radio single and will never accomplish anything as awesome as "having written the album Demanufacture."

Failure all around. Shut it.

boba. - 2007-06-16

i've actually never seen a single star wars movie -- guess what, my name is bob and my last name starts with a. Based on your assumptions, however, you are a total fucking loser who probably knows a lot more about all the shit you're making fun of than I do. You are also FALSE METAL.

Jimmy Labatt - 2007-06-17

Fuck you beardo, you're not fooling anyone

baleen - 2007-06-16

This is not slayer. Slayer is good.

mr666 - 2007-06-16

I always thought Fear Factory was a little overrated, but they still put out some good stuff.

x - 2007-12-28

Bravely rated and reviewed, ryanowens.

nocash - 2007-12-30

Thanks for reminding me of being 16, jerk!
