Tossed mine out a long time ago. It's not that I believe they are any health hazard. I have just found as I aged microwaved food tends to taste terrible to me. No justification for using valuable counter space for one anymore.

The best part of James Rolfe is that he's a true fan, but he's also kind of anal about it. He shares my enthusiasm for those great Universal horror films of the thirties and forties, which don't get enough love these days, but he's way too hung up on that "Frankenstein is not the name of the monster" business, to the extent that he has to rationalize the title "Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman " by explaining that Larry Talbot DOES meet Elsa Frankenstein, Victor Frankenstein daughter, so we can let it slide. The annoying thing about this sort of sticklerism is that there's never been any real confusion. Surely the screenwriters, of all people, understood that monster was nameless, and they put "Frankenstein" in the title as a kind of coloquial shorthand. Everyone understands this. I understood it when I was six. Yet some movie nerds seem to think that they're uncovering some kind of arcane secret knowledge.

Okay, that's a pet peeve of mine, and I'll never miss a chance to complain about it, but Rolfe's obsessive-compulsive nature is also part of his charm. The first Cinemassacre video I ever saw was "Top Forty Shitty Shark Movies", which he claimed to have begun work on BEFORE the first Sharknado movie came out!" You have to love a guy who would watch all those crazy shark movies. Later, he recut it as "Top FIFTY Shitty Shark Movies"!

I 've never seen anything from James Rolfe to make me think that he's any kind of misogynist, an I've always thought it unfortunate that the mainstream media tagged him as the public face of Ghostbustergate 2016, when he announced that he wouldn't be reviewing the new Ghostbusters movie. i don't know, and never bothered to find out, but I suspect he didn't know what he was walking into.

Some people are just way way way into Ghostbusters. If you love a movie so much you get weepy discussing it (like more than one of the fans interviewed for the documentary "Ghostbusters") or if you went to the theater to see Titanic 50 times, or maybe Rocky Horror (I lost count at around fifty viewings) that kind of love is sacred. To me, the original Ghostbusters movie is really funny, even if its replete with 80s ocmedy tropes that rub me the wrong way. When I was kid in the late 70s, I was militantly anti-disco, and I was probably a bit of a douchebag about it, but it was just because I loved rock and troll so much, and partly because, when I was 20, I was a bit of a douchebag. It wasn't because I was racist or homophobic. No, really.

My microwave beeps, and I am fine with that. What I want to know is... what's the deal with airline food?
