I am familiar with the work of Mr. Rubin and I am certain than he is just incredibly stupid.

He's very,very stupid when it comes to thinking thoughts. He's kind of smart when it comes to being loud and marketing outrage. Same goes for all of the IDW.

also, I think M. Yuck may be on to something without OZ being wrong. it's not hard to suppose that, once someone less dumb has adjusted the landscape, a sort of rhetorical current might arise, flowing toward a kinda linguistic nihilism in which precious ignorance is preserved. if you're smart in yogarian fashion, you might paddle your inner tube into the flow, and what's left then but to pull the tab on a can full of patreon juice and flow lazily down to... hopefully, to a backwater full of ghiardia or something.
