He didn't even make a bald joke, he made a joke about her SHAVING HER HEAD (hence "GI Jane 2"). So fucking weak on Will Smith's part.

He slapped somebody in the face for making a joke comparing his wife's bald head to a bad movie that came out 25 years ago. You can feel the aura of his ego radiating off him as he marches to the stage. Nobody stopped him. Nobody sanctioned him. He was asked to leave but refused.

Does this set a dangerous precedent for comedy, where you can just physically assault the headliner when a joke rubs you the wrong way? I don't know. But Will Smith clearly has a lot of underlying issues. I keep remembering Patton Oswalt's story about the VMAs and 300 people showing up.

King Richard didn't coldcock the guy; it was a slap. It was not meant to cause injury, and it did not cause injury. It was wrong, and Deadshot has said so, very clearly, but if Fresh Prince had slapped him hard enough, maybe Chris Rock would be funny again.
