This is blowing my mind.

You can tell the one time that they are in a room with real actors that aren't bluescreened in is when they're beamed aboard the Klingon Bird of Prey, because they somehow become worse performers and can't stop giggling. Also, the dumpy Vulcan chick vaguely threatens the Klingon in back, and he actually responds in an equally caricaturish, funderful fashion.

Xiphias - 2007-07-22

Unless there's a SHAKE FIST AT KLINGON stage direction? I'm not sure.

fluffy - 2007-07-22

During that scene there's still off-by-two-frame cutting errors where the nerds' cut happens before or after everything else's.

Xiphias - 2007-07-22

Nice glasses, Nimoy.

DeForest Kelley is the only one who seems ashamed.

fluffy - 2007-07-22

It's all so clear now: he died of extreme shame.

Namor - 2007-07-22

What the fuck was this?

Frostilicus - 2007-07-22

An old codehappy vacation tape. Guess who is with her!

Jimmy Labatt - 2007-07-22

Man I just love the look Cpt. Geek gives the camera when he activates that detonator thing

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2007-07-22

"I am so the captain! My mom told me so! I am totally the (voicecrack) captain!"

Also, is that Jesse Ventura as the Klingon?

Stopheles - 2007-07-22

Those Klingons were lucky they had their faces obscured by prosthetics.

baleen - 2007-07-22

WRONG

bakune young - 2007-07-22

ITS A DREEM COME TRUE

Pandatronic - 2007-07-22

John Whatshisname talks like the mad scientist in Dark City.

Senator_Unger - 2007-07-22

How can you steal the plot of Star Trek II and NOT have Ricardo Montalban in it? Also, let this be a lesson to actors who don't take their pension plan seriously.

Caminante Nocturno - 2007-07-23

-4:57 had me laughing hard enough to start coughing. And I think that's around the point where the nerds stopped trying to act at all.

Camonk - 2007-07-23

It hurts, but it's a good kind of hurt. Kind of warm and tingling, right in that space of my brain that used to be able to appreciate acting.

Xenocide - 2007-07-24

-5:14: Bones is a master of sarcasm, especially the kind that quickly turns to utter despair. Poor Deforest.

Spoonybard - 2007-07-25

Star Trek XI doesn't look as bad as I was expecting

Hooper_X - 2007-07-25

Wow. I remember hearing about this when it first dropped and thinking that it'd be kind of cool.

Boy, was I right!

crote - 2007-07-26

Seven-year-old version of me did this (and be this I mean THIS EXACT ONE) with my family circa 1992. I had forgotten how thoroughly rad it was.

That tape needs to be located.

mystery_bouffe - 2008-09-09

Seven year old me also did this, around 1994. Wasn't Back To The Future also an option?

KozmicBlue - 2007-08-07

So is this guy's mom playing the vulcan...?

Also, I was on the edge of my seat.

nubilus - 2007-08-14

jealous :-/

Hailey2006 - 2007-08-16

Are they're anymore of these?

IrishWhiskey - 2007-08-18

I'd still rather watch this than Voyager.

RandomFerret - 2008-03-26

I really regret not doing this when I was there.

dementomstie - 2008-04-18

I didn't know that Captains were so prone to giving Thumbs Up gestures so much. I love when they're on the Klingon ship and he gives a smile to the camera and a thumbs up to show that this is all a part of his cunning plan.

UGLY PERSON - 2009-08-25

boom mic gonna get old Gene!!
