Entertaining, but I gotta say I prefer the Zatoichi brand of violence.

I respect all your feelings on this matter, and would never cast aspersions on The Blind Swordsman.
But give Lone Wolf a chance!
And really, you have to give credit to the main baddie, and his amazingly overcomplicated name-recall system! How long did Ogami have to wait in the shadows while that guy went through his crazy alliterative, audio-cued dawning realization?
And that sick samurai!! If I'd pulled that sick act on my mom as a kid, I woulda totally had to go to school!
And cutting off at the shins! Yeesh!
