Five for hating on FOXNews, but this documentary wasn't really that well done.

NineEleven - 2007-08-12

fox news: possibly evil?

Exegesis_Saves - 2007-08-12

The presentation is sloppy, but the actual information is priceless.

But hey, Michael Moore being fat seems to matter to his critics more than his actual content does...maybe I'm off on this.

Unmerciful Crushing Force - 2007-08-12

No, A Line in the Sand is the epitome of sloppily documentary filmmaking on both aesthetics and information. At least these people light their interviewees and cut effectively.

The editing however, leaves the context open for question at times.

I'll watch the whole thing before giving this any stars though.

The Media Matters kid looks like he's about twelve years old, but I'll be sending him a check for his Bar Mitzvah.

How about buying his book, "Blinded by the Right". He used to be a conservative propagandist, but flipped when he saw his principles being abused. Here's a url...

The full "Outfoxed" uncut is on Google video last time I checked. I agree, the information is better than how it is presented but anyone with any sense of objectivity and knowledge of what journalism and propaganda is will just watch Fox News for a few weeks, an hour each day at different times, and figure out that it's one of the greatest threats to our culture, reputation, society, journalism, intelligence, and ability to reason. It really must be shut down because every news network is becoming just like Fox and that means more people will think... just like Fox. Very very bad. And the fact the Rupert Murdoch sees nothing wrong with it is very very very bad. I dunno am I taking this to seriously?

kingarthur - 2007-08-12

No, you're not taking it too seriously. I don't think you can just shut down Fox though as there's no legal precedent to do so and several protecting them. However, it's spreading everywhere. It's making everyone into a willfully ignorant moron. Or maybe that's just my perception of the internet, radio, cable television, and any outlet for public debate in this country.

SO E|)G3Y

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2007-08-12

Well when we live in a country where idiots can defend mere opinions by saying "It was on TV" and infer that this means it is therefore truth, we have a problem, especially when this occurs en masse.

Caminante Nocturno - 2007-08-18

Sometimes I wonder if it would be better for the world if this country never stopped spiraling into failure.
