He's....so fluffy.

fluffy - 2008-02-12

I concur

Jimmy Labatt - 2007-08-25

They make great pets, actually (once you take that gland out). My buddy has one.

Old_Zircon - 2008-04-24

I've heard that their urine still smells really strong, like a ferret. Also that they're smart enough to open doors and are kind of a handful. I was half-seriously considering one before we decided to just get cats.

Big Beef Burritos Supreme - 2008-12-12

Xiphias loves skunks. Go! Xiphias.

Angel Carver - 2007-08-25

You know what I like about this video? The fact that the owner's concern for his pet's safety is stronger than his interest in getting great tumbling-skunk footage.

Doctor Arcane - 2007-08-25

I agree.

Also this makes me miss my ferrets. Ah, mustelids are so cute.

minimalist - 2007-08-25

Thirding this.

Also, the skunk in profile rather looked like Todd the squirrel. "F-F-Fuck you, man, I've t-t-tumbled worse for a bag of horse if you know w-w-what I mean"

Xiphias - 2007-08-27

Skunks were formerly considered to be a subfamily of the Mustelidae family of weasels and related animals (where some taxonomists still place them), but recent genetic evidence shows that they are not as closely related to the Mustelidae as formerly thought.

Cleaner82 - 2009-05-26

Five million for an owner finally showing concern for his pet. Another couple for Xiphias Attenborough.

mouser - 2007-08-25

Hrm. Comparing with the skunks in my neighbourhood, this one looks like a bag of lard. It's totally ass-heavy.

But it's damn cute anyhow.

-1 star because he didn't get sprayed (even if I know pet skunks get de-glanded).

Big Beef Burritos Supreme - 2007-08-25

Higher amusement caused by fatness of skunk.

And man, you shouldn't spoil animals - it makes them behave like a pain up the ass.

Caminante Nocturno - 2007-08-25

He was protected from any sort of physical damage by a thick layer of adorableness.

Xiphias - 2007-08-27

It is better to avoid playing rough with baby skunks, or they may become aggressive as they get older. Bare hands can be used for loving and cuddling the skunk, but a stuffed toy or hand puppet should be used when playing with them due to their sharp teeth and extremely long fangs.

Caminante Nocturno - 2009-01-14

I see.

Smellvin - 2007-08-25

He is pretty fat. Non-traditional domesticated species tend to have a problem over eating, because in the wild they just eat whatever they find; they very rarely have an overabundance of food. They're also a lot more active, swinging from tree to tree and running away from tigers.

Xiphias - 2007-08-27

The more you gently handle and fondle your baby skunk, the more docile it will be when it grows up. The more you hold and talk to a baby skunk, the more love will come your way from this skunk as it grows.

SixDigitDebt - 2009-01-25

Please never say "fondle your baby skunk" again.

RockBolt - 2007-08-25

Good catch

Xiphias - 2007-08-27

More homes have been cleaned, meals prepared or football games watched with a baby skunk snuggled inside a T-shirt tucked into a waistband than you could ever imagine. Being this close to you, the baby skunk will learn that it is great to be part of your family as you protect it and calm it down, feeling warm and wonderful all over that you are its new Mom or Dad!

Frank Rizzo - 2007-08-27

stairs, the mortal enemy of the fatass skunk.

Xiphias - 2007-08-27

Spanking or hitting a skunk is not recommended, since it will cause him to become vengeful.

Frank Rizzo - 2007-09-17

Xiphias has lost his mind.

Meerkat - 2007-12-26

Spanking or hitting a Xiphias is not recommended, since it will just think you are being an asshole.

Borborygmus - 2007-12-20

fluffy and fat

KnowFuture - 2008-09-17

Kunkie!
