The infernal 'Renew my subscription' pop-ups from their security suite are nearly as bad as the spyware and pop-ups they claim to stop. I spent hours waiting on the phone for their tech support, only to find that the subscription reminder 'feature' that causes me to crash out of Unreal Tournament can never be turned off.
It can NEVER BE TURNED OFF? This Renewal shit can NEVER BE TURNED OFF?!? Oh dear sweet Jesus, somebody down at McAfee is getting a date with a lead pipe.
It can be renamed and deleted though, then you'll have to manually dig the remaining bits of program out of the registry like ticks out of a dog's arse.
