There's a really good reason why the NAACP buried the n-word , like they did with "Jim Crow" in 1944.
It's "comedians" like this, whose sole purpose it seems is to reaffirm every negative black stereotype in existence for a cheap laugh. It's like Williams watched Steppin Fetchit with baited breath and took every note he could.
It's just embarrassing and sad.

2. The word "nigger" serves no positive purpose. None. Zero. Stupid white guys retort: "Well, Richard Pryor and Paul Mooney and Dave Chappelle say 'nigger' a lot! It's funny!" Do you think every black America who's been called that disgusting word thinks it's funny? Do you think all the men and women who fought and marched for their rights think its funny?
3. This guy is a clown. He's not funny. To you, he himself is the joke, and you're laughing at the silly black man up on stage, not the "comedy" bit itself.

Roachbud - 2007-09-17 I'm Irish, but I don't shit a brick when people make jokes about us drinking too much whiskey or eating potatoes. I mean, yes, black people have gotten the short end of the stick -- as have dozenss of other people around the world. This country did things just as bad to the Indians and the word slave comes from Slav, the people who were bartered around Europe. To make that point further -- the Czar didn't liberate the serfs (who were in essence slaves) until the middle of the US Civil War. The Irish had their lumps too, what with 800 years of Protestant oppression and being shat on and spat on in this land of opportunity for the first 200 years. This comedian isn't the problem, neither are better ones like Richard Pryor or Paul Mooney. The problem is racism and black peoples' failure at pulling themselves out of the shitter like other minorities have (Asians, Jews, Cubans, Irish, Italians, Slavs).

I live in Vancouver and I go to a lot of standup. Every bit based on weed is terrible. Virgin locals and Americans try to win the crowd with a weed joke. We smoke weed; yes; we get it; it's not funny. All the jokes have been made and we already told a better version. (Usually a weed bit is having a goofy voice and saying the word munchies.)
This was great and enjoyable thru its length. That is all.
