Who here watching this wouldn't find some excuse to use a jet pack?

zatojones - 2007-09-21

Dude had to get over the building. He had a jet pack on hand. What would you have done?

Sometimes a solution just presents itself.

And then he crashed into a man in a mole costume.

I don't know the context of the episode, but I'm guessing he wasn't going for the element of surprise.

RAAAAOOOOOWWWWRRRR

When the eyes of a ranger are upon you, you better look up because he has a fucking jet pack

Chuck once said to David Carradine (from Kung Fu), "You fight about as well as I act."

Chuck's awesome.

Caminante Nocturno - 2007-09-21

I suspect that this scene (and many others like it) were lifted from unused scripts for Karate Kommandos.

What's sad is I can remember this scene in context of the episode.

Or, to borrow from a synposis I found online that seems to have been awkwardly translated into English:

"Mexican presidential candidate Mendoza visits Dallas. During a speech the (expected) assassination attempt could be prevented and the would-be assassin is identified. Philippe Brouchard is one of the best of his field and he won't give up until he has reached his goal. But Mendoza doesn't want to renounce any of his appearances and therefore Walker, Trivette and the security chief Rodriguez have a lot to do to guarantee for Mendoza's safety. But the conceited agent Tackler takes away the Ranger's resposibility.
At a banquet, which, beside Mendoza, is also attended by Alex and C.D., Brouchard and his men make a run on the hall and take all persons present as hostages. And now he also demands releasing a prisoner and emphasizes this with a murder. Walker, who cannot rely on Tackler's help, tries to get into the building alone to knock out the attackers and (hopefully) free the hostages."

And so, in this sordid little Die Hard knockoff scenario, Walker runs to an absent-minded professor type friend of his to get a jetpack. To get in the building without being seen, smoke and FWOOOOOSH and all. Of course, it all ends in a mano y mano fight at an old folks home.

Why can I remember this so easily and I've forgotten almost all of my college algebra?

You frighten me.

Olaf the Unspeakable - 2007-11-24

I think that might be a stunt double!

Ichigo Style - 2007-12-06
