#1 on my "beloved cartoons from childhood" list. To this day I want to be a 1930's adventuring aviator. And also a talking bear.

Smellvin - 2007-10-05

I ALWAYS wanted to be a talking bear. This show just reminded me of that goal. Anyhow, I remember watching this right after school along with those other Disney cartoons.

Pandatronic - 2007-10-05

Hell yeah. I never thought taking characters from the Jungle Book and making them into retro airplane pilots that fight pirates and commit acts of derring-do would work, but it did.

zatojones - 2007-10-05

This has become nothing but a furry incubator

Xenocide - 2007-10-05

Talespin was Disney's Indiana Jones. It's sad that you're too furry-obsessed to appreciate it.

IrishWhiskey - 2007-10-05

90% of kids shows back then involved talking animals. If you feel that threatens your sexuality, or that cartoon bears are trying to tempt you, then there may be personal issues involved.

EAT SHIT, CHARLIE HORSE

Caminante Nocturno - 2007-10-05

Oh, for the days before we knew what furry was...

Xiphias - 2007-10-05

queeeeeer

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2007-10-05

You know, this show had a lot of actually good homages to 30s/40's action adventure serials. Plus it came out right before the Rocketeer. Yay art deco!

Unmerciful Crushing Force - 2007-10-05

Holy shit. 5 stars for making me remember the time that cartoon characters on kid's TV shows could fire actual motherfucking lead at each other.

eatenmyeyes - 2007-10-08

Walt Disney's The French Connection...

Aubrey McFate - 2007-10-05

I didn't even like this show as a kid.

coprolalia - 2007-10-05

Blugh. I watched a regrettable amount of Disney Afternoon as a kid, but it's either Ducktales or Fuck You.

tamago - 2009-05-26

I don't remember a show called FUCK YOU.

Duck Tales was p. cool, though.

EvilHomer - 2007-10-05

I'm torn between semi-fond memories of this show as a kid (not the best show ever, maybe not even one of the better ones, but certainly not the worst) and the Furry Question. So rather than rate a good video low, or a bad video high, I'm not going to rate it at all.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2007-10-06

About 8 years ago, I looked that show up and found the message board. I found out a lot of people wanted to fuck and or torture most of the characters. That's how I first learned about furries, so I've tended to try not to even think about this show for years..

fluffy - 2007-11-20

So many repressed memories

That was a good show until TEH FURRY polluted it.

Spastic Avenger - 2008-03-12

Closest we're ever going to get to a Crimson Skies or Sky Captain cartoon.

Vicious - 2008-03-17

I'm blocking out the furry connection, I'm not going to let it bother me.

Scattersane - 2008-05-29

I didn't appreciate this show enough as a kid. I was more of a Darkwing Duck fan.

Come to think of it, between this and the distinctly Shadow-like Darkwing Duck, the Disney Afternoon had a surprising amount of Pulp Adventure influence. Something we could always use more of, I think.
