Best zombie design ever. I also think Return of the Living Dead is the most flawlessly constructed zombie movie ever made. It's one of those statements that seems crazy at first, but everytime I say it to someone, they end up going: "You know, I've never quite thought about it before, but I think I agree."

drcrypt - 2007-10-08 You're not wrong about the "brains" thing (correct me if -I'm- wrong, but what other zombie series besides ROTLD has zombies saying "brains?") but you are wrong about the running zombies aspect: the very first zombie in the original Night of the Living Dead is a runner, and the Italian cheap-o Dawn of the Dead cash-in "City of the Walking Dead" features running zombies, despite the fact that the title clearly says WALKING Dead. If you consider "Demons" a zombie movie, those guys were runners too.
