After the commercial break, can the team meet the babyfurs? Please?

hornung - 2007-11-02

why the texas instruments graphing calculator as a controller?

Rabid Vegan - 2007-11-02

...whu...

This actually aired? How? WHY?!?

RockBolt - 2007-11-02

This is like Refer Madness for video games

Dr. Lobotomy - 2007-11-02

And in the end, the killer gets away.

At least that episode was consistent in its portrayal of complete failures.

sliggy - 2007-11-03

"Luckily we have this giant screen hanging out back here on the wall."

The entire episode was like this. It truly was a thing of beauty. I put it up there with the furry episode of regular CSI, or any episode of CSI: Miami.

Syd Midnight - 2007-11-03

Some crappy Game Design School's entire graduating class probably worked on this.

They need a L&O episode to decide whether or not it's Constitutional for police to use h4x and bots. You just know that's going before a real court someday soon.

Caminante Nocturno - 2007-11-03

I can't imagine how this would've turned out if it had involved the cast of CSI Miami instead of New York.

BHWW - 2007-11-03

I don't know either, but it probably would have ended with Caruso saying "There's nowhere to run...put the gun down. Put it down." BAM BAM BAM.

Plus, he would have gotten to make some "pithy" comment about how some people need to pay more attention to first life or something, his moral indignation (which comes to the fore at least once an episode) flag flying high.

Brautwurst_Barbarian - 2007-11-03

Did he just kill the giant skull centipede with a hadoken?

Charles - 2009-09-22

No, dude! It was the Kamayamaya!!

Stog - 2007-11-03

+5 for the Second Life fight scene

+5 more because I am a fag for Gary Sinise

Janusian Soul - 2007-11-03

"Alright everyone! Charge him one at a time!"

The DBZ death ray attack at the end was pretty epic, too. I was also confused by the TI controller.

If this were CSI Miami, Caruso would have been digitized in the game with a pair of the most audacious sunglasses man has ever seen. He would have had super powers.

Blaise - 2007-11-03

On TV they always get things wrong.
Here for instance they make Second Life look fun.

Hooker - 2007-11-03

I love how, big as gaming has gotten, it's still almost impossible to make it look like anything more than sadness.

And I've never played Second Life. I'm correct in assuming that the game has no rules or structure for this to make any sort of sense, right?

Syd Midnight - 2007-11-04

Yeah, it's not even a game, it's a 3-D chat room with poseable avatars. About the only really interesting stuff is when 4Chan/FYAD grief people and are dubbed worse than terrorists/rapist/Nazis.

RomancingTrain - 2007-11-04

25 years later and the avatar still has to look like Tron.

citrusmirakel - 2007-11-11

So, I've never seen any of the CSI's before, outside of the odd poeTV clip, and now I'm just wondering...

Is it a comedy? CSI is this hip meta-comedy with which I've never been acquainted?

Camonk - 2007-11-20

If I'd watched this accidentally, like if I'd seen the show and been confronted with this naturally, I'd be pretty annoyed, I think.

Borborygmus - 2008-02-07

hilarious. i love how he has to stand up in front of a giant screen. Why? because gaming from the outside looks boring. And this is what they came up with to make it look cool?

Skills? It's an MMORPG, it doesn't take skill.

Vicious - 2008-03-14

It's not even that, it's multiplayer The Sims with no structure.

baleen - 2008-02-10

PRODUCT PLACEMENT ON A GRAND SCALE

ZawBanjito - 2008-02-22

Five stars for making Second Life look like fun. Which it isn't.

GusPlease - 2008-07-18

This is the funniest thing the internet will ever produce.
