This is from Mondo Cane (I just posted a few clips in the hopper), an Italian exploitation-"documentary" from 1962. While the film is more interested in presenting semi-morbid, curious material rather than educating its viewers in any way, it still is an awesome film and through its many juxtapositions ends up being even somewhat profound.

What I'm trying to say is: I love this fucking film, watch it.

P.S.: The music is awesome too.

Yeah, I thought maybe I should have put "documentary" in quotations too. I especially doubt they spend so much time looking up waiting; most cargo cults seem to just integrate these practices into standing religous ceremonies, not devote their every waking moment to airplanes. This movie is also ultimately responsible for that miscegenation clip that came up earlier from another mondo "documentary."
