This is the best show ever made

Son of Slam - 2007-11-21

Cadillac of the skies.

Cap'n Profan!ty - 2007-11-21

Rolls-Royce of the skies, you mean. It's a damn Merlin engine in the thing.

Life ain't fair. The best fighter in WW2 was a hurried US design when married with a kickass UK engine. Sorry if us Yanks get all the glory, but we'll freely admit that it took a Merlin to make the P-51 Cadillac of the Skies.

Happy now? Anyways, the real fight always went down to Hurricanes and P-47s, so lets both eat some crow and tip our caps to those war horses, K?.

The only way this show could be any better would be if it gave you a beer during every commercial. Oh and also it should be about 12 hours long.

That's an idea for a PoeTV Fest.. pay .. and for the whole evening, you just watch the best of PoeTV and get handed a beer every few minutes or whenever its empty. Hells yeah. Well we do that for free but it ain't the same..

Repomancer - 2007-11-21

Oh man, that was beautiful.

Billings - 2007-11-22

To make a long story short, the P-51 is apparently a superior plane

glasseye - 2007-11-22

Uh yeah, it was designed five years after the 109. It had better be superior...

FABIO2 - 2007-12-05

Never says which model it was. There's a world of difference between the (at least) 3.

Wondering why the German thought it was a good idea to climb the second time after he failed to keep up with a climb just before.

Spastic Avenger - 2007-12-18

I love this, but I unexpectedly started crying when the german plane hung in the air and plummeted towards the floor. I know it's kill or be killed, and the american pilot was only playing the game, but it is still poignant watching the German die.
