That's no excuse for trying to bury it by making its first rating one star, Jefka. This had to pass the hopper first, and and shooting it down like that right away is a complete dick move.

Is there good software to turn an .flv or avi into an animated gif? I've been using screen-caps and gimp and it seems like such a waste of time.

For .avi files I've always used Adobe Premiere and exported it to gif. There are probably simpler ways to do it.

Building anigifs with individual screencaps sounds... painful.
