I know it's classic and all that, but I absolutely cannot stand Lucy's voice. Maybe it's my hangover, but listening to her speak evoked more hatred and frustration in me than any other noise has in my life.
I love how when Shultz started this line of humor, a lot of people thought he was being way too dark for a kids humor strip. Charlie Brown was Shultz's way of dealing with his own self image. I can't think of another cartoon dealing with neurotic behavior and anxiety with quite this level of endearment.
