Five stars for pure, out of tune, frumpy evil.

Half the things they're ranting about are due to the shrub anyway, it's hilarious.

Roachbud - 2007-12-14

They should just nuke Capitol Hill and all the people that live on it

TimbolinoBilchard - 2007-12-14

This is terrible. It actually makes me appreciate the higher production values and better writing from the Phelpses.

Hugo Gorilla - 2007-12-14

I'm tired of political humor and, in the case of this video, I'm using a generous definition of the word "humor." It's just lazy topical observations where the punchline is always the same boring caricature of whatever figure that happens to stumble into the headlines. Sorry, guys, there's no entertainment value here for me -ironic or otherwise.

KnowFuture - 2007-12-14

Right-winger attempts at funniness are my equivalent of little-kid refrigerator drawings.

Xenocide - 2007-12-14

Maybe if they came up with actual jokes instead of just finding different ways to say "RRAAAR LIBERALS SUCK."

I bet these people thought the 1/2 Hour News Hour was the funniest thing ever and its cancellation was the result of a leftist plot.

biclops - 2007-12-14

They put the most tone deaf one (6) next to the one who thinks she can sing (5) creating a pain that I may never recover from.

citrusmirakel - 2007-12-14

I genuinely have no idea of most of the shit they were talking about. Hillary's Woodstock Museum? 11 percent approval... for what?

However, + a star for these people attempting to do "humor", and looking genuinely pissed off and frumpy about it, + another for the atrocious singing, and + another for the gay asian mysterously in the group.

Caminante Nocturno - 2007-12-14

At about five, I was really hoping that someone would jump in front of the camera with a vest made out of C-4, and there's no way I'm wrong in thinking that.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2007-12-15

I was hoping for the same, only but with a madman and a beaker full of acid.

Hooker - 2007-12-14

Needs new tags:

nervous glances, uncertain smiles, pensive free-thought, don't make me take my belt off

(five for hate)

RockBolt - 2007-12-14

The fuck

Brautwurst_Barbarian - 2007-12-14

It's the liberals fault gas is so expense.

Okay.

I think the 11% referral is referring to bush?

Knuckles - 2007-12-15

11% refers to the approval rating of the democratic congress.

IrishWhiskey - 2007-12-15

I've got to see THAT poll. Otherwise I don't believe it.

Xenocide - 2007-12-15

I don't think congress' approval rating is quite THAT low (though it is pretty low.)

And anyway, it's the approval rating for congress as an entity, not for one party or another.

Valkor - 2007-12-20

Actually, funny story, if you look at drilling permits given out under Bush, there have been less per year then when Bill was in office.

Bort - 2008-12-22

Of course there are low approval ratings for Congress -- my guys can't get anything done because the other guys keep getting in the way.

GravidWithHate - 2007-12-14

There are some people who sit in reality like a granite stone sits in a river. They are surround by it, but nothing penetrates the surface.

jesustweak - 2007-12-14

Gay marriage! - Um, I mean 700 billion in new spending.

Stog - 2007-12-14

HURR LIBERALS ARE MORONS BLOOP

Xenocide - 2007-12-14

At least the liberals gave me SOMETHING for Christmas.

The GOP just sent me a cheap card. And a donation request. And 3,800 war dead.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2007-12-15

Seriously, even if you're a conservative, this has to be seen as fucking retarded.

Baldr - 2007-12-15

I'd define myself as a moderate libertarian / classical liberal, but yeah it's pretty awful. Making fun of government spending rings hollow when the last guy from the opposing party decreased the percentage of GDP that the government accounts for every year that he was in office, and your president of choice increased it every year that he was in office.

Black Napkins - 2007-12-15

Rudy, good job for finding this, but I'm sort of with Hugo here. The fact that they're complaining about things mostly due to their pretty boy from the last prom is just not funny anymore.

Knuckles - 2007-12-15

SIX troop FUNding CUTS

HILLLLARRRY'S WOOOODSTOOOOCK MUSEEEEEUM

Midnight Man - 2007-12-15

You'd think the party of the barefoot and pregnant oops I mean traditional values family would be able to front some women with a little tonality.

Eroticus E - 2007-12-15

4 bucks a gallon? The liberals? Honestly?

Also, I want to shoot the "Hillary's Woodstock museum" woman in her face.

IrishWhiskey - 2007-12-15

Just confirms that Conservatives have no musical talent.

FABIO2 - 2007-12-15

What reality do people have to live in to honestly keep buying that democrats = big spending & big government, despite 20 years of Republican candidates proving the exact opposite?

EvilHomer - 2007-12-15

The YT comments:

"I Commend all the participants for being in such a controversial piece of music here. I think the writing is witty (for such a bad song)and the girls in front are all beautiful. Who is that tall blonde in the back? She's gorgeous. One of the things I love most about this Country is the Freedom of Speech...So keep reeling out the Video's NRSC and we'll keep telling you whats on our minds. Merry Christmas!"

"Wow. That was horrible on more levels than my frail human mind can regularly comprehend. Seriously, I think I saw Cthuhlu for a moment there."

"Jebus. There must be several websites urging their sheep armies to rate the comments here.

I had this open in a tab early today. When I later reloaded it there was like a 15 point difference in comment ratings. Now I just reloaded it and there has been like a 15 point swing in the other direction.

Jebus folks, don't you have anything better to do?"

And so on.

benchmark - 2007-12-18

Comedic and musical talent. Republicans just don't seem to have either.

I can't figure out who is more punchable-- the "Hillary's Woodstock Museum" girl or the "Two Liberal Udalls" girl. The former seems to be WAY too into it, while the latter keeps mumbling her damn lines.

ABoyNamedCheese - 2007-12-20

They had all three branches of government for 6 years and still blame liberals for things that happened in that time. The Right, everyone. Let's hear it.
