Also, cockatoos have a crude but wicked sense of humor.
Birds are theropods, and therefore they already HAVE ruled the Earth.

Perhaps somewhat ironically, that's an african grey. Cockatoos are awesome but louder than anything else in the entire whole universe. So really it's other people's cockatoos that are awesome.
