I know this doesn't make any sense, but Carl Sagan always sounds like he's doing a Carl Sagan impression. I guess I have difficulty believing that anyone actually talks that way.

This bit broke my eight-year-old heart when I saw it. It made me so sad to think that being an interstellar space traveler (which I was obviously going to do when I grew up) would mean I'd lose everyone I ever cared about.

What about ludicrous speed? Do we actually DO get the tartan patterns?
