There's a great, no-bullshit moment with Kurt Russell on the commentary to this DVD when John Carpenter asks him what his "method" is. Roughly paraphrased Kurt: "I dunno. I just sort of show up and act like I think the guy might kind of act in that situation."
Are you trying to say his method doesn't work? I think it's clear that his method works out pretty AWESOME

Way to cut out before the end
The commentary on this....hell, any Carpenter/Russell commentary.... is great. despite my love of this movie and those guys, this is a really awful series of clips strewn together.
I love how seriously a third of the Big Trouble commentary track is just Carpenter and Russell talking about their kids' little league teams and shit.
Yeah, I was hoping for a clip with that weird floating monster thing with the eye. Oh well, this is still awesome.
