Okay, that does it, I'm backing Obama.

Azraelazitgetz - 2008-02-01

Maybe it's a ploy? Maybe she wants people to associate her own bad name with Hillary, so as to take votes away from Hillary? This is just fucked, no matter how you look at it.

klingerbgoode - 2008-02-02

that was my first thought too

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2008-02-01

This might be sabotage, or maybe she is really fucking black Muslim men and this has all been a sham.

CornOnTheCabre - 2008-02-01

what the fuck... is she... actually making sense for once? I think my hatred for Hillary Clinton is clouding my judgment. Along with vicodin.

Pacobird - 2008-02-01

Except for the fact that McCain's voting record is solid in favor of the Bush tax cuts despite (to be fair to the man) going on about how the focus of reduced spending should be deficit reduction, not tax cuts. Either way, if he'd inherited the Clinton surplus (thus not requiring deficit reduction), we still would have had the cuts had McCain been elected in 2000.

Oh, and also, as Hannity mentions, the troop surge (arguably the only thing that's gone right for Bush in his second term) was basically McCain's idea.

So maybe if the only thing you care about is Iraq they aren't particularly distinguishable, but to trump that up, in spite of virtually every other issue, as McCain being more liberal than Clinton is distilled nonsense.

Still, 5 stars for a brand of Machiavellianism I hadn't expected.

I'm not going to watch this because I'm sort of tired of this ridiculous fossil. But Clinton did call herself an "Iron Lady" which was reason enough to tell her to go fuck herself for me.

FABIO2 - 2008-02-01

Ditto. Someone who can stomach this please summarize.

afp3683 - 2008-02-01

Basically, she says Clinton and McCain's platforms are barely different, but she still trusts Clinton to be harder on the war, and to follow through better on her promised stances.

IrishWhiskey - 2008-02-01

Basically she's lying through her teeth, claiming that John "hundred more years" McCain is more against the war in Iraq than Hillary Clinton. Its obvious bullshit, and so transparent a ploy that it could only work on Hillary haters and Fox News viewers.

Hugo Gorilla - 2008-02-01

Ann Coulter is as charming as ever.

kingarthur - 2008-02-01

After Anonymous gets done with Scientology, can it focus on Fox News and conservative blowhard pundits next?

OxygenThief - 2008-02-02

Does being distracted by a cat meme count as done?

Hooper_X - 2008-02-01

It's a hilarious ploy. A lot of the conservative blow-hard types are openly telling their listeners to stay home or vote Democrat if McCain is nominated, with the argument being "we need four years of a Carter to get another Reagan."

(also, Alan Colmes is the political equivalent of Stepin Fetchit.)

Smellvin - 2008-02-01

This election could cause a large migration to/from both major parties and completely shake them both up a la all the racists leaving the Dems en masse after Kennedy worked to desegregate schools.

themilkshark - 2008-02-01

Dear God that woman is terribly unpleasant to look at.

Roachbud - 2008-02-01

Ding dong the Republican coalition is dead.

Dinky Patterson - 2008-02-01

One nutty broad's publicity stunt is hardly the canary in the mine.

Roachbud - 2008-02-01

She's far from the only right winger that hates McCain: pretty much all the talking heads do, anti-immigration people do, he's not a big enough religious nut, he worked with Feingold on campaign finance and that pisses people off.

Dinky Patterson - 2008-02-01

And the vast majority of them hate Hillary and Obama even more. And that hate, coalesced with their fears of terrorism, Supreme Court vacancies and higher taxes, will be enough to hold them together--even if they never fully trust McCain to do their bidding.

Aelric - 2008-02-01

true enough. fox's candidate at the begining seemed to to guilianni, but that pony was dead at the gate. not they are still badmouthing mccain like they were while unsure of which fuhrer to march behind. sean hannity is is gonna beg bush on air to declare emergency powers so he can still have a job.

B. Weed - 2008-02-01

To lift a gag from Sadly, No!:

Shorter Ann Coulter: PAY ATTENTION TO MEEEEE FOR GODS SAKE WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO FLASH MY TITS?

oswaldtheluckyrabbit - 2008-02-01

I am enjoying this right-wing meltdown very much. Will the Republican Party go the way of the Whigs?
