A wiz in the poolhall! *bleeeeeooooh wooop!*

kthorjensen - 2008-02-07

I loved the shit out of this movie as a kid.

SharoKham - 2008-02-07

Directed by...the guy who made Django?! Hahaha. The horrible music and the fact that his powers were apparently based on whatever would be most convenient that scene really seal the deal.

Testicles of Doom - 2008-02-07

HOLY SHIT.

RockBolt - 2008-02-07

So amazing he can catch bullets with his mouth closed!

Rudy - 2008-02-07

He could also blow giant bubble-gum bubbles that were lighter than air that could support two people.

Oh, and run really fast. Not Flash fast, but a good 60-70 MPH, anyway.

revdrew - 2008-02-07

And shoot nuclear missiles out of the sky. I guess he also a Super Gun, using Super Bullets?

bubble gun scene

Blaise - 2008-02-07

I saw this at the drive-in as a kid.

I remember that many of his powers didn't really make too much sense. Looking back now it actually makes this movie even more hilarious.

The lead, Terence Hill, starred in two other enjoyable Italian-American films from that era; "Mr. Billion" and "My name is Nobody" (with Henry Fonda in a supporting role).

robotkarateman - 2008-02-08

And not just Nobody, but the Trinity movies are awesome as well. Well, ok, "Boot Hill" kinda sucked, but the others are pure awesome. Any series where a touching family reunion has the dad asking, halfway through the meal, what they're eating and the mom replying, "I dunno, it was flapping around the yard a little while ago, and now it ain't" is 100% grade A awesome in my book.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2008-02-07

I have never heard of this. I am entranced.

Lindner - 2008-02-07

I loved him in Trinity, so... I am now looking for this video.

Cheese - 2008-02-07

It should be said that while he is 'A New American Superhero!' If memory serves - it's dubbed from Italian.

boner - 2008-02-07

Dunno if they were still doing this in the 80's, but Italian movies used to be made with actors speaking whatever language they wanted, so even the Italian version would be poorly dubbed

boner - 2008-02-07

The 80's never looked so much like the 70's

Hugo Gorilla - 2008-02-07

As long as he doesn't see the color red, of course.

Spit Spingola - 2008-02-08

Man, I can't believe I missed this.

Jeff Fries - 2008-02-08

Another victim of nuclear fallout
