When I saw the title and video description I thought someone had started another stupid forced holiday like "Talk Like A Pirate Day."

We should all wear a sweater and wreak vengeance on Fox News Headquarters for besmirching his great name. http://www.poetv.com/video.php?vid=19427

citrusmirakel - 2008-02-27 Angry mobs dressed up as Mister Rogers? I couldn't be more down with this idea.
Fred Rogers was a god among men. I will do as Mr. McFeely commands.

RandomFerret - 2008-02-27 I know you guys are joking, but come on. He wouldn't want that.

March 20th is the birthday of my first girlfriend, my little brother, my wife...AND MISTER ROGERS?
Damn.
I'm definitely wearing a cardigan that day! I'm in!

Spot of advice: don't read the "People Who Liked This Video Also Liked" column. Trust me on this, just watch the video and leave it at that.

Actually, the least you could do is make the most of this beautiful day, but the sweater idea is too heartwarming to pass up.

Camonk - 2008-02-28
That's actually a nice idea, not nearly as dopey and exploitative as I was expecting. Now, I just have to find a sweater.

So lame that I'm in. Mr. Rogers is a fond memory.

I approve of this idea.

Shion - 2008-02-28
I will wear a sweater for Mr. Rogers. I will even wear a tie.

At the risk of coming off a disrespectful cur, I'm honestly surprised Mr. McFeely survived Mr. Rogers. It's a happy surprise to see he's still around though.
I'm alla' time wearing sweaters and they're all pretty special to me, so just for the occasion, no matter what happens on the 20th, I'll change my shoes immediately when I get home from that day's activities whether there's any practical need to or not.
