The news article and the video report on the side contradict each other. The print says the girl was in trouble for repeatedly touching another student, the video broadcast says her cell phone was distracting the driver. The latter reason is kind of bogus, because we clearly see the bus driver ignore another girl talking on her cell phone near the FRONT ROW.

Both parties acted pretty stupid, but the bus driver should've known that you DON'T grab a student in any way to begin with. That's just common sense. Any kind of physical contact nowadays is strictly prohibited.

That bus driver really didn't want to give up what little authority in the world she has. If you have to make yourself feel more powerful by bossing around children, you might have a problem.

The driver was following rules by keeping her on the bus. Having to cart a bus full of animals every day is the work of a hero.

The bus driver was the one ratcheting up the conflict. Every time the stupid kid wouldn't give in, the bus driver just had to push it further rather than just say, "Oh... I guess I'd better be the mature one here." Both parties were wrong, but the kid's a kid... they act like kids.

So, what's the mature thing to do? Get in the driver's seat and hit the gas, dropping the girl on her ass? Let her off and get sued when she get's hit by a car? I'm confused as to what exactly this bus driver was supposed to do, other than radio for help while blocking the girl from exiting the bus.

Alternatively, she could have pulled over at a safe place, told her to get off the bus, then barred her from ever getting on it again. Bus drivers are allowed to let people off wherever they find it safe. I had a bus driver that did this. He was a nice guy. Maybe he was living on the edge of the law or something (is that really a fucking law? do you really know that or are you just making that up? how do you know? i don't believe you) but it seemed to make the girl who he let off very happy.


GIRL: Mom, she won't let me off the bus. Do you want to talk to my mom?

BUS DRIVER: Hello, is this Sammy's mother? Yes, she is being very disruptive so I've had to pull the bus over. I can't let her out here, but I will let her out at the next available stop.

The bus driver should have spoken to her mother, not thrown her fucking phone out the window. You can call the kid a whiny little bitch, but the driver was not in control of what was happening. I love how both of them use the camera to defend themselves when both of them were fucking retarded.
