To be fair and to come to the defense of the person that made this video, you should look at the way this was posted to youtube, where it lives. It is titled “The Wonder Years” and the only description is “Jon Friedman stand-up joke.” The description does not describe everything that is said in the video (as it is listed here) therefore NOT making the first part of the video redundant but needed. Also it was posted on October 1, 2007 which is BEFORE Garfield without Garfield.

If you mute it and don't hear the dude's quimby ass voice, it's a lot better. Of course, the show takes place during a different time. Maybe people had different time tables for conversations.
