Binro the Heretic - 2008-03-12
Way back in 1986 when my family got our first VCR, we used to rent movies from the same independently-owned home electronics store that had sold us the VCR and our television set.
When this tape showed up on the shelves, I rented it solely because of the cover, which featured a kid in an anti-radiation suit riding his bike away from a mushroom cloud.
At first, I was kind of let down and a little pissed off because I didn't think it was anywhere near as cool as the cover, but then it got to the part where they showed the horrific injuries of the survivors juxtaposed with footage of Tibbets being all arrogant and snotty. I was hooked.
I think I rented it at least once a month for a year or so afterwards. I need to get a copy on DVD.
